Like every year, in Kensington we have carried out our Solidarity Breakfasts. On Monday, December 13, secondary and high school students participated in the third solidarity breakfast of this course.

On this occasion, the 4th ESO “B” students propose that the proceeds go to the #TeamSeas organization. This is the largest project to remove waste from the oceans, beaches and rivers so far known. Their goal: to remove 30 million pounds (13,608 tons) by January 2022. To accomplish the task, they will rely on their "next-generation River Interceptors", organized clean-up sweeps on land, and professional removal teams. equipment and ghost fishing traps. Note: It is a derivative project of The Ocean Cleanup as a challenge.

On the other hand, 4th ESO and 1st Baccalaureate students from Kensington School have participated in the 2021-2022 Christmas Toy Campaign carried out by the Department of Youth of the Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council. As on other occasions, in this campaign, the students have participated in the selection, classification and fine-tuning of those toys that are forgotten in cupboards without being released, or practically without having been used, and which have been delivered by the citizens of Pozuelo in the cube. The Department of Youth, once the toys are prepared, will send them to children from families without resources as well as to Institutions in Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Thus, at Kensington we work to convert our school into an entity that supports the social causes of our community, as well as to establish in our students a precedent of solidarity and commitment to society, the most needy and their immediate community.
