BRITISH MULTILINGUAL SCHOOL FOR A HAPPY AND BALANCED LIFE
KENSINGTON, YOUR BRITISH SCHOOL
Our pupils study from their first day in a British school with native teachers, following the same educational system as any child in the United Kingdom. We aim to offer our students an excellent human and academic education, so that they leave our school as fine young men and women, fluent in English, Spanish and French with internationally-recognised qualifications and results which open the doors to any Spanish or international university. Supported in their path through the school by a personal, holistic approach to education, our children learn critical thinking, how to live and work together on their way to becoming happy, well-rounded adults.

WHAT ARE THE KEY POINTS OF OUR PROGRAMME?
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND HAPPINESS
Hard work, determination, the love of reading, sport… good habits that children take to heart and follow through the rest of their lives.
We teach pupils to respect themselves and each other and to work hard, giving the best of themselves as the key to achieving excellence.
PSHE is a core subject nurturing empathy, team work, leadership…a complete education in emotional well-being and values.
Our staff’s commitment to the educational programme, to our pupils and their families lies at the root of everything we do.

EXCELLENT RESULTS IN EXTERNAL EXAMINATIONS AND LANGUAGES
EXCELLENCE AT YOUR OWN PACE
Pupils at Kensington achieve outstanding results in external examinations [IGCSE, Cambridge, DELF and EvAU] thanks to our system of careful individual tracking of student achievement. Individual needs are met: whether they are experiencing difficulties, or whether they excel. Class teachers and tutors, the support teachers, the small groups, the concept of ‘differentiation’ of the British curriculum and the guidance department are key elements in a strong support system.
SPORTS & ARTS+MUSIC+COMPUTING
A HOLISTIC AND CREATIVE CURRICULUM
At Kensington, we value the ‘intangibles’, those aspects of a child which can’t be evaluated by a simple test or exam, but which nevertheless will be vital for their future. The British education system promotes a holistic and creative curriculum in which sports & arts, music+computing are key subjects for a complete education. Pupils learn to love and respect each other, to work towards deadlines and objectives, to enjoy their learning while developing resilience in the face of challenges.
THE WILL TO SUCCEED, SELF-CONFIDENCE AND FEELING PART OF A TEAM
ASSEMBLIES, HOUSES & CLUBS
In the finest British tradition, Kensington School runs through a house system. Based on a healthy spirit of competition, children work to accumulate points for their houses. Regular assemblies in the Auditorium give staff a chance to discuss day-to-day school issues with children, with creative performances from different classes in the course of the year, and the opportunity to reward children who have excelled with their much-coveted Merit Badges. The extra-curricular activities are also British in style, and a pupil’s favourite activity often encourages deep personal ties and self-confidence.
BUILDING A BETTER WORLD, ONE STEP AT A TIME
